A fashion and lifestyle logistics business has signed a long-term lease to let the entire space available at Trinity Park, a new industrial development in Swindon completed by Trebor Developments and partner Hillwood.
The 79,814 sq ft space taken by Bleckmann Logistics combines two units of 42,452 sq ft and 37,362 sq ft each.
Trinity Park was completed earlier this year and incorporates warehouse and industrial space. The scheme is well connected by road, with Junction 16 of the M4 three miles to the south and the A419 three miles to the north-east.
Mark van Onna, General Manager Real Estate at Bleckmann: “We have quickly outgrown the capacity of the current Swindon operation. Therefore, we were looking for additional capacity in the area to further accommodate the growth of our existing clients, as well as onboarding of new clients, whilst utilizing the skilled experience of the Swindon team.”
James Drew, development director at Trebor Developments, said: "We are delighted to have completed the letting of the whole at Trinity Park to Bleckmann, the letting was concluded in just five weeks from the commencement of negotiations.
"This transaction continues the sharp take up we have seen across our recently developed, high-quality logistics accommodation where available for immediate occupation."
Councillor David Renard, Leader of Swindon Council, said "So many speculative builds around Swindon are being snapped up by businesses keen to grow their businesses here. We are delighted that Bleckmann are continuing to thrive in our business community and wish them every continued success. Swindon is very much open for business."
Trinity Park was marketed on behalf of Trebor and Hillwood by joint agents CBRE and WBM Property.
